SWISS WATCHMAKING HERITAGE SINCE 1930

Rodania was founded in 1930 in the Swiss canton of Bern by Hans Baumgartner. In the 1950s, an international distribution centre was established in Brussels, which became the brand’s main international sales hub.

In 1955, Hans Baumgartner entrusted the international management of Rodania to the young and dynamic entrepreneur Manfred Aebi, a Swiss national living in Belgium with his family.

In 1995, Manfred Aebi acquired the company and transferred Rodania’s official headquarters in order to centralise its logistics operations in Brussels.

In 2020, the Rodania brand was acquired by three entrepreneurs from the Swiss and Belgian watch industry, marking the beginning of a new chapter in the brand’s history.
